Terms of Service (Website, Memberships, Coaching)

1. Who we are & what we do

We provide educational and entertainment experiences for couples, including events, retreats, memberships, and coaching. We are not therapy or counseling and do not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By visiting our site, purchasing, or attending, you agree to these Terms and any policies referenced here (Privacy Policy, Event & Retreat Policy, Liability Waiver, Media Release).

3. Eligibility

You must be 18+ to purchase or attend. Alcohol-serving events are 21+ (ID required).

4. Not therapy; no clinician–patient relationship

Our offerings are not therapy and don’t create a clinician–patient relationship. If you are in crisis, call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

5. Payments, billing & taxes

You authorize charges to your payment method for all purchases, fees, and applicable taxes. Pricing may change before purchase is completed.

6. Memberships & auto-renew

  • Plans renew automatically each billing cycle until canceled.
  • Cancel anytime in [Account → Billing] or email priscilla@dvinetiming.com at least 14 days before renewal.
  • Partial periods aren’t typically refunded after renewal starts unless required by law.

7. Coaching specifics

Coaching is guidance and education, not therapy or crisis care. You are responsible for your decisions and actions. We may suggest referrals when appropriate. Cancellations/rescheduling require 48 notice or the session is forfeited.

8. Events & retreats

Participation is governed by our Event & Retreat Policy and Liability Waiver, which you must accept at checkout.

9. Community guidelines

We maintain inclusive, judgment-free spaces. Harassment, hate speech, disruption, or unsafe behavior may result in removal without refund.

10. Intellectual property

All content, materials, and programs are our IP or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

11. Health & safety

You agree you’re fit to participate and will follow reasonable instructions and venue rules. Some activities involve inherent risks (see Waiver).

12. Accessibility

We welcome accommodation requests at [accessibility]. Please contact us 14 days before your event.

13. Photo/video

We may capture content at events. See Media Release for details and opt-out options.

14. Third-party links & tools

We’re not responsible for third-party websites, tools, or vendors.

15. Disclaimers

Services are provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the offering giving rise to the claim.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse, violation of these Terms, or unlawful acts.

18. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas. Venue and jurisdiction lie in the courts of Dallas, Texas unless otherwise required.

19. Dispute resolution 

 Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in Dallas, Texas except small-claims cases. Jury trial and class actions are waived.Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

The prevailing party in arbitration shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs. Consult your attorney before enabling this clause.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the “Effective Date” means you accept the changes.

2) Event & Retreat Policy (Refunds, Transfers, House Rules)

1. What’s included

Each event lists what’s included (e.g., venue, materials, meals). Travel and personal expenses are not included unless stated.

2. Pricing & payment plans

  • Deposits and payment-plan installments are applied to your balance.
  • Default: Deposits are non-refundable but transferable once to the same event type within 12 months.
  • Late or missed installments may cancel your spot.

3. Refunds & cancellations 

  • ≥30 days before start: 80% refund (or transfer once without fee)
  • 14–29 days: 50% refund (or transfer once with $[fee] admin fee)
  • <14 days: No refunds. Name transfers allowed until 48 hours before start.
    (Edit the windows/percentages to match your business.)

4. Transfers & name changes

Tickets are transferable to another couple until 6 days before the event. Email Priscilla@dvinetiming.com with both names and order #.

5. Minimum enrollment & changes

We may reschedule or cancel if minimum enrollment isn’t met or due to circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund or credit—your choice.

6. Force majeure (weather, travel, emergencies)

If severe weather, government action, venue issues, or other force-majeure events occur, we may modify schedules, venues, or activities. Refunds are handled per Section 3 unless we fully cancel.

7. Health, safety & alcohol

  • You’re responsible for assessing your fitness; disclose relevant health needs.
  • Follow staff/guide instructions and venue rules.
  • Alcohol (if offered): 21+, valid ID, drink responsibly. We may refuse service.

8. Accessibility

Request accommodations at [accessibility at least 14 days prior.

9. Conduct & removal

We maintain a safe, judgment-free space. We may remove any attendee for harassment, intoxication, disruption, or unsafe behavior—no refund.

10. Check-in, late arrival & no-show

Check-in closes 10 after the start. No-shows are not refundable.

11. Photography & media

Events may be recorded or photographed. See Media Release for consent and opt-out instructions.

12. Personal property

We’re not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

3) Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Title: Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Claims

By registering for or attending any Couples Collaborate event, retreat, membership activity, or coaching session (the “Activities”), I, [Participant 1 Full Name] and [Participant 2 Full Name], acknowledge and agree:

  1. Voluntary participation & fitness. I am voluntarily participating and am physically and emotionally able to do so. I’ll follow reasonable instructions.
  2. Inherent risks. Activities may include, without limitation, [light physical movement, hiking, outdoor excursions, games, workshops, travel to venues, consumption of food/beverage including alcohol]. Risks include injury, illness, property loss, and other hazards.
  3. Not therapy / no medical advice. The Activities are educational/entertainment and not therapy or medical care. No clinician–patient relationship is created.
  4. Medical disclosure & emergencies. I’ll inform organizers of relevant conditions or allergies. I authorize Couples Collaborate LLCto secure emergency care if needed; I’m responsible for costs.
  5. Assumption of risk. I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Released Parties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  6. Release & waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Couples Collaborate LLC its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, partners, and venues (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of my participation, except where caused by willful misconduct.
  7. Indemnification. I agree to indemnify the Released Parties against claims arising from my actions or violations of policies.
  8. Alcohol & transportation. If I consume alcohol, I do so responsibly and will not drive impaired.
  9. Media. I understand activities may be photographed/recorded; see Media Release for consent/opt-out.
  10. Severability. If any part of this Waiver is found invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
  11. Acknowledgment. I’ve read this Waiver, understand it, and sign it freely.

4) Media (Photo/Video) Release & Opt-Out

A. Standard release 

By attending, I grant Couples Collaborate LLC a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use photos/audio/video that include my likeness for marketing, education, and documentation, in any media now known or later developed. I waive rights to inspect/approve the finished materials and understand I will not be compensated.

B. Respectful use

We commit to using content tastefully and respectfully, focusing on community, connection, and celebration—not shaming or sensitive disclosures.

C. Opt-out options

If I do not wish to appear in photos or videos:

  • Tell staff at check-in to receive an opt-out indicator (e.g., wristband/sticker), and

Avoid posed photos; notify photographers if I’m incidentally included so it can be deleted or cropped when feasible.
